Join us for the premiere of this new Kinder Konzerts presented by FRIENDS of the MN Orchestra.
You’ll be the first to hear this fun and entertaining new show based on the very popular children’s book. The concert features original music by Minnesota composer Abbie Betinis, generously commissioned for FRIENDS of the Minnesota Orchestra by the Rod & Barbara Burwell Foundation in honor of Ara Burwell, founder of Kinder Konzerts. The music will be performed by an ensemble of Minnesota Orchestra musicians and narrated by FRIENDS' teaching artist Katie Condon who will bring this classic tale to life through music and imagination!
This family-friendly event is a rare opportunity for the public to experience a Kinder Konzerts on a weekend. Come early to experience the kid-friendly lobby activities that FRIENDS will present throughout Orchestra Hall. Books, colorful caps, T-shirts, and stuffed toy monkeys will be available for purchase.
Tickets available on the Minnesota Orchestra Calendar.
