About the event
Join FRIENDS of the Minnesota Orchestra for FRIENDS at Then & Now: A Musical Reunion, a FRIENDS Membership Event on Sunday, October 4 at 2:30 p.m. at Town Green Amphitheater in Maple Grove. Bring your lawn chair and gather with us at Cross Community Players’ annual fundraising concert to cheer on fellow FRIENDS members Ann Farrell and Walter Tambor, who are performing. Enjoy favorite songs from the past 15 years of CCP productions, brought to life by beloved alumni and friends, under the autumn sky. No tickets are required, but there is a suggested freewill donation of $20. In the event of inclement weather, Cross Community Players will announce an alternative venue.
After the concert, continue the afternoon with an optional casual FRIENDS dinner at Grackle in Maple Grove. Dinner is self-pay, and everyone covers their own meal and drinks. RSVP is requested only for the dinner so we can give the restaurant a heads-up. Come for the music, stay for the community, and help us celebrate Ann, Walter, and the FRIENDS spirit.
