As a lot of FRIENDS will know, Ann Farrell, long time FRIEND member and board member is an accomplished singer. So, grab your picnic dinner, we will supply the dessert bites and let’s show our FRIEND some support!

About the event
As many of you may know, Ann Farrell, long time FRIEND and Board member, is an accomplished vocal performer and owner of Ann Farrell Voice. Her current project is staring as Queen Aggravain in Cross Community Players production of Once Upon a Mattress. This show opens Friday, June 20 and runs until Sunday, June 29.
In honor of Ann’s royal performance, we proclaim that a regal pop-up event is in order! You’re invited to join fellow FRIENDS on Saturday, June 28 for a fun night under the stars at Town Green amphitheater in Maple Grove. Crowns optional!
In case you’re not familiar with this show, Once Upon a Mattress is considered on of the funniest Broadway musicals of all time. It tells the story of the princess and the pea through song, dance and flawless comedic timing. This show launched the incredible careers of Carol Burnett and Sarah Jessica Parker, so there may be a hint of magic too!
Ticket refund and exchange policy: Tickets to CCP productions are non-refundable and, in general, are not exchangeable. If a performance is completely cancelled due to inclement weather, you can:
Attend any remaining outdoor performance at Town Green on a different date (just present your ticket upon entry)
OR
Attend an indoor version of the show on the original date/time at its corresponding rainout venue
Evening (June 20, 21, 26, 27 & 28) rainout venue: Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, 5929 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429
Matinee (June 22 & 29) rainout venue: Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove, MN 55369
If you are unable to use a purchased ticket, you may be able to claim the expense as a 501(c)(3) charitable donation on your tax return.
Performance change communications: The decision to completely cancel a performance, change location, or change start time will be posted on crossplayers.org at least 2 hours before the originally scheduled show time.
Outdoor general admission seating: The Town Green features amphitheater style seating with tiered cement risers near the stage and grassy seating areas in the rear. Bring a blanket, cushion or lawn chair and enjoy the show!
Parking: Limited street parking is available along Main Street N. We recommend using the parking ramp adjacent to the Maple Grove Library on Lakeview Dr. N.
