Join the FRIENDS of the Minnesota Orchestra for an intimate and insightful evening at our celebrated ACCENT program. We are thrilled to present a special program featuring MN Orchestra’s Music Director Thomas Søndergård in conversation, joined by the Orchestra's own Associate Principal Cellist Silver Ainomäe.

This marks Maestro Søndergård's eagerly awaited return to the ACCENT stage since his inaugural season, offering a unique opportunity to hear his artistic vision and experiences leading the Orchestra. The evening becomes even more exceptional with the participation of Silver Ainomäe, who will not only join the conversation but will also perform a special cello piece for our audience. As he prepares for his featured solo with the Orchestra this July, this is a privileged preview of his remarkable talent.

Hosted by the inimitable Melissa Ousley of YourClassical MPR, the conversation will delve into music, leadership, and life on stage. The evening begins with a reception at 6:15 PM, followed by the program at 7:00 PM.
